Opportunity:

RN - IR Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, 4 x 10-hour shifts per week
• On-call requirement of 12 shifts per 4 weeks
• Must be flexible with hours to meet department needs
• Perform pre and post procedure care of patients for invasive, interventional, and surgical procedures
• Utilize critical thinking skills to deliver patient care in complex, multiple problem patient care situations
• Complete V-ARU competencies
• Transport patients as needed and provide privacy and comfort for patients
• Assist in other Medical Imaging areas and as needed in other departments system wide
• Responsible for patient, family, and support system education and post procedural home care instructions
• Verify patient ID using 2 patient identifiers and comply with preprocedural verification and time-out processes
• Assist with maintenance of departmental records, Joint Commission standards, State and Federal Regulations, and Performance Improvement
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (Bachelor's preferred)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC) and ACLS (required within 180 days of hire)
• Active RN license required (single state or multi-state compact)
