CNA Acute Care Job in Honolulu, HI

Kuakini Health System is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an acute care assignment in Honolulu, HI. This is a 91-day travel position starting September 28, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting while building your clinical experience.

Position Overview

As a CNA, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Your responsibilities will include assisting patients with activities of daily living, monitoring vital signs, maintaining patient comfort, and supporting the nursing team to ensure quality care delivery across the acute care unit.

Schedule and Hours

• Rotating shifts required
• 40 hours per week guaranteed
• Mix of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts: two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts per week
• Weekend availability required every week

Qualifications and Requirements

• Current CNA certification via Prometric Hawaii
• Ability to work a rotating schedule including weekends
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina for a fast-paced acute care environment

Compensation
