Radiation Therapist Job in Santa Fe, NM

CHRISTUS St Vincent Cancer Center is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a full-time travel position in Santa Fe, New Mexico. You will work day shifts, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday with no weekend or on-call requirements.

Role Responsibilities:

• Perform radiation therapy and radiographic procedures involving the application of X-rays and radioactive substances to patients
• Operate specialized X-ray equipment, including TrueBeam machines, as prescribed by the physician
• Maintain treatment records and prepare operational reports as required
• Maintain, store, and order supplies and equipment
• Provide quality patient care tailored to each patient's prescribed diagnosis, treatment, age group, and identified needs
• Administer prescribed courses of radiation therapy with full responsibility for all related duties

Required Experience and Credentials:

• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• New Mexico medical radiation technologist (MRT) and registered radiation technologist (RRT) licensure required upon hire
• Associate Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field
• TrueBeam machine experience and Aria/Varian software experience required
• Specialized procedures experience required: SPRT, SRS, IGRT, and IMRT
• Two to five years of clinical experience preferred
• IMRT experience and LDR/HDR brachytherapy experience preferred

This is a 91-day assignment beginning September 14, 2026. You will receive $3,036 per week.
