Certified Surgical Tech - Certified Surgical Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with holiday rotation
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• Up to 4 call shifts (end of shift to 7:00 AM) per month
• Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units/sister facilities
• 2 years of experience required
• Highly preferred experience: Neuro (spines/craniotomies), ENT (flaps), and Robotics (DaVinci Xi) cases
• Common cases include: Ortho (total joints, spine, trauma), Neuro (craniotomies, spine), ENT (flaps), Robotics, Transplants/Procurements, Trauma/Burns, GU/GYN
• Required certifications: NBSTSA (NCCT not accepted), BLS
• Radiation badge required (must be provided by agency)
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift)
• Scrubs provided by facility
• EPIC charting system
• Must be aware of hurricane season emergency response team assignments from June through November
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
