Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to work at this facility
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Weekend coverage required with frequency varying but usually not more than every other weekend
• Up to 2 call shifts per 6 week schedule (up to 4 call shifts per 13 week contract possible)
• Night shift call coverage from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM only
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must have 1 year minimum experience with Epic EMR
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT, State License
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Provide respiratory therapy services including ventilator management, arterial blood gas interpretation, bronchoscopy assistance, and various respiratory treatments
• Handle emergency department respiratory care and patient transport duties
• Must be willing to float to other units and campuses as needed based on census requirements
• Complete pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login information (billable up to 16 hours)
• Must be team-oriented and motivated to work well with others
