MRI Technologist Job in Muskogee, OK

You will operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images at Muskogee Campus Hospital. Your role centers on delivering high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety and departmental standards.

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI equipment and perform examinations according to department policy and protocols
• Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures of various body parts
• Set up equipment including coils and monitoring devices for optimal imaging quality
• Screen patients and personnel for metal objects or implants that could pose safety risks
• Perform quality control tests on department equipment and report any discrepancies
• Collect and evaluate examination information from scheduling, patients, and referring physicians
• Manipulate and evaluate images using console keyboard and mouse for physician display
• Send images to PACS system and verify exams are completed in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate documentation on logbook worksheets and charge examinations appropriately
• Maintain departmental records and patient information according to facility policy

Required Qualifications:

• Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology Program or MRI accredited program
• ARRT-R or ARMRIT registration
• BLS certification
• 1–2 years of experience
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology

Preferred Qualifications:

• ARRT (MR) certification
• Experience with Epic and Siemens equipment

This is a 5x8 rotating shift position with a contract duration of 89 weeks, starting June 29, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,812.
