Registered Nurse - Operating Room @ Pratt Regional Medical Center

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• 13-week assignment duration starting ASAP
• Minimum 3 years of OR experience required with no exceptions
• Must be proficient in Orthopedics (total joints), General surgery, and OB procedures
• Call requirements: every 5th or 6th weekend and one day during the week
• Patient ratio of 1:1 across all shifts
• Work with patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 12 patients with 5 operating rooms
• 8 hours of orientation required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Kansas nursing license required (in hand or compact at submission)
• Special procedures include: Orthopedics, GYN, Podiatry, General surgery, Endoscopy, Labor and Delivery C-sections
• Must be experienced in various surgical procedures including arthroscopy, total joint replacements, laparoscopic procedures, and spinal surgeries
• Special equipment experience required with Hana Table
• May float to different units as needed
• Complete pre-start modules averaging 1 hour (non-billable)
• First time travelers not accepted for this position
