<p><strong>RN Position Job Notes:</strong></p> <p>Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.</p> <p><strong>Opportunity:</strong></p><p>RN - Med Surg PCU Stepdown</p><p><strong>Job Details:</strong></p><p>• Work with both medical surgical unit (MSU) and progressive care unit (PCU) status patients<br>• Patient ratio of 1:4 for PCU patients and 1:5 for medical/surgical patients<br>• Float to telemetry and medical surgical units as needed<br>• Every other weekend schedule required<br>• First to float when floating is necessary<br>• Up to 2 extra mandatory shifts per 6 weeks may be required<br>• Use EPIC charting system for documentation<br>• BSN degree not required<br>• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS<br>• Work in acute care setting at trauma level 3 facility<br>• Client can provide 2-week notice and call off up to 48 hours per 13 weeks</p><p><strong>Facility:</strong></p><p>This regional medical center operates as a trauma level 3 facility providing comprehensive acute care services to the surrounding community.
