ED RN Job in Tucson, AZ

Northwest Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a travel assignment. You will work 3x12 night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM in a 38-bed ED, providing direct patient care and clinical leadership.

About the Role

• Deliver care to Emergency Department patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with Arizona Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in planning safe patient care delivery
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• May float to other departments as needed

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Charge nurse experience preferred (additional $3/hour)
• NIH certification recommended but not required

Assignment Details

• Duration: 91 days
• Start date: April 27, 2026
• Shift: 3x12 nights with 48-hour guarantee consideration
• Weekly pay: $1,971
• Black scrubs required
