Long-Term Care CNA Job in Alturas, CA

Modoc Medical Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our long-term care team. You will work rotating shifts, including some weekends and holidays, providing direct resident care and support to our nursing staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assist nursing staff with activities of daily living and direct patient care
• Work with residents, families, nursing staff, and other facility departments to provide individualized care
• Make rounds on each resident and assess new admissions or any resident who is ill, has fallen, or sustained an injury
• Receive and give report on resident conditions and ensure clear understanding of care to be provided
• Document assessments according to facility policy
• Answer call lights promptly and respond to resident needs
• Notify nursing staff of any changes in residents' conditions or current needs
• Float to other units as needed
• Promote positive working relationships with co-workers, residents, families, and physicians

Requirements:

• Valid California CNA license
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as a team player

This is a 91-day travel assignment with a weekly pay rate of $790. You will be an essential part of our care team, ensuring our residents receive compassionate and attentive support.
