ICU - Intensive Care Unit

Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts (overtime billed after 48 hours on 4x12 schedule)
• Night shifts with weekdays and every other weekend schedule
• Float pool position - must be willing to float to Stepdown Unit and may also float to ED/MedSurg to care for ICU patients being held
• Holiday coverage required within contract
• Patient ratios of 1:2-3
• Strong neuro experience required including post-neurosurgical, EVD, and stroke care
• Must have experience with ventilators, IV drip titration, telemetry monitoring, conscious sedation, dysrhythmia and emergency management
• 3 years critical care experience preferred (will consider strong candidates with less experience)
• Travel experience preferred
• Must be EPIC proficient with no exceptions
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS via American Heart Association, NIHSS required
• VA or Compact license required in hand at time of submittal
• EKG testing required with 80% passing score, no remediation available
• 3 hours of pre-start modules required (billable)
• Must pass fit testing - facility cannot accommodate PAPR
• No license or background hits will be considered
• Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
• Care for patient populations including neurosurgical and post-stroke, respiratory failure, renal failure, post-surgical, trauma, sepsis and MODS, heart failure and post-cardiac cath patients
