Pediatrics RN Job in Charlotte, NC

Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for a 13-week pediatrics assignment in Charlotte, NC. You will work 3x12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM) with a 36-hour weekly schedule, caring for medical-surgical and hematology/oncology patients ages 0–17.

Position Details:

• Patient ratios of 1:5–6
• Every other weekend requirement
• No call requirement
• Float responsibility to PICU and NICU
• Self-scheduling system available
• Up to 7 days RTO auto-approved (holidays excluded)
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience required
• Current BCLS and PALS certifications
• Chemotherapy administration capability
• North Carolina or Compact license required
• First-time travelers accepted with 2+ years experience

Preferred Skills:

• IV starts and lab draws
• Chemotherapy certification

Onboarding and Systems:

• 24-hour unit orientation
• Hospital orientation during week one with mandatory daily classes
• Electronic systems: PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR documentation

Workplace Notes:

• Dress code includes fun kid-themed tops with navy pants (scrubs not provided)

Weekly pay is $1,723.68. Assignment begins July 6, 2026.
