ED Registered Nurse Job in Fayetteville, GA

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 112-week travel assignment starting July 6, 2026, with 3x12 day shifts at $1,684.80 weekly.

Requirements:

• Current RN license (Georgia or Compact)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Epic charting system proficiency
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred

Role Details:

• 4:1 patient ratio (days, nights, weekends)
• Care for all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating within facility and scope of practice as needed
• 24 hours of orientation

Required Clinical Skills:

• Arterial line management
• Central line care and management
• Care of ventilated patients
• Continuous IV sedation
• General emergency department combined adult/pediatric care
• Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Isolation precautions and PPE
• IV vasopressors
• Management of multisystem organ dysfunction and failure
• Triage

Time Off and Holidays:

• Maximum 7 days of pre-approved time off per contract
• Major holiday expectations: if one or two major holidays fall during assignment, work all; if three or more fall during assignment, work two of them
• Major holidays: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day

Support Available:

Interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support.
