About this role
Join Trident Regional Medical Center's electrophysiology lab as a registered nurse on a 91-day travel assignment. You'll work 36–40 hours per week in a newly renovated facility with an experienced clinical team, providing direct patient care and procedural support in a specialized cardiac environment.
Role and Responsibilities
- Scrub and assist on electrophysiology procedures, including ablations (atrial fibrillation, SVT, AV node) and device implants (pacemakers, ICDs, biventricular devices, insertable loop recorders, Watchman procedures)
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and recovery
- Document care using the Meditech system
- Operate GE equipment and maintain procedural standards
- Collaborate with cardiologists and electrophysiologists in a fast-paced surgical environment
Schedule and Location
- 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, days (7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
- Monday through Friday with alternating days off
- 4-day work weeks
- Charleston, South Carolina
Requirements
- Current RN license
- ACLS certification
- RCIS (Registered Cardiac Invasive Specialist) certification required
- Proven experience scrubbing electrophysiology procedures
- Hands-on experience with ablations and device implant procedures
Compensation and Details
- Weekly pay: $2,365.20
- Assignment start: July 27, 2026
- Surgical scrubs required; facility can provide
