Mammography Technologist Job in Ada, OK

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Mammography Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at Mercy Hospital Ada in Ada, Oklahoma. This is a day shift position offering stability, predictable hours, and the opportunity to work with a dedicated outpatient population.

Your Role

You will operate GE mammography equipment in a 1:1 patient ratio setting, performing diagnostic mammography procedures including needle localizations, biopsies, and stereotactic procedures. Your responsibilities include conducting quality control activities to meet MQSA quality standards, reviewing physician orders, scheduling patients, coordinating department resources, and preparing exam rooms. You will produce diagnostic images with technical proficiency, recognize technical abnormalities, and maintain cleanliness between patients. Close collaboration with staff and physicians ensures optimal patient care delivery.

Requirements

• Allied Health Professional credential
• Minimum 1+ year of experience in Mammography
• ARRT(R)(M) licensure required
• BLS certification from AHA only
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
• QA/QC experience preferred

Facility Information

Mercy Hospital Ada uses the EPIC EMR system. Black scrubs are required; no other scrub colors are permitted. You will operate all equipment safely and follow established radiation safety procedures.
