Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation and holiday rotation required
• No call responsibilities
• Maintain 1:5 patient ratios on a 34-bed General Medical Progressive Care Unit
• Float between all campuses as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Cardiac telemetry experience required with management and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Experience with peripheral line care/management and PICC line management
• Must be able to titrate drips
• EPIC charting experience required
• All nurses must pass an EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed)
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Complete compliance file required by 12 noon EST on Wednesday prior to start date
• 36-hour orientation with non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours
• Care for adult patients with stroke, renal disorders, sepsis, endocrine disorders, gastrointestinal disorders, and hematological disorders
