OR RN Job in Oklahoma City, OK

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for the Operating Room at Dean McGee Eye Institute – Oklahoma Health Center in Oklahoma City, OK. This 89-day assignment runs 4x10 days on the day shift, starting April 13, 2026. You'll earn $2,516 weekly.

In this role, you will:

• Provide perioperative nursing care for patients ranging from 6 months to 95 years old
• Conduct preoperative patient interviews and assessments
• Recover Phase 1 PACU patients, manage airways, and address pain and nausea
• Demonstrate excellent IV skills and ability to instill prescribed pupil-dilating drops
• Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed treatments
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products
• Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Communicate with patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Maintain a fast pace and embrace collaborative teamwork

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Current RN license issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association
• Preoperative and PACU experience preferred
• Familiarity with surgical eye cases strongly preferred, including cataracts, cornea, retina, glaucoma, and plastics
