CVOR Technologist Job in Indianapolis, IN

IU Health Methodist Hospital is seeking a CVOR Technologist for surgical services. You'll work three 12-hour shifts per week from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a call requirement of 90–120 hours in a six-week schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage complex cardiothoracic surgical cases including heart and lung transplants, valve replacements, aortic dissections, CABG, TAVR, VAD, and endovascular repairs
• Receive lines from perfusion and prep them for cannulation
• Support vascular and thoracic surgery procedures
• Work with patient populations across adolescents, adults, and geriatric age groups
• Float within the hospital and to nearby affiliate hospitals as needed
• Comply with call schedule, including working 2 out of 3 major holidays

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of experience as a surgical technologist
• Current BCLS and NBSTSA certifications
• Demonstrated experience in Level 1 Trauma Center settings
• Proven experience with complex cardiac procedures and cardiothoracic cases
• Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers accepted if Level 1 Trauma experience is demonstrated
• Two supervisor references required

This is a 91-day assignment beginning July 13, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,099.52. Please provide 2–3 days of interview availability when you submit your application.
