NICU RN Job in Madison, WI

UnityPoint–Meriter Hospital in Madison, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). This is a temporary position offering 3×12 shifts on days, rotating weekends (every other weekend), with no on-call responsibilities. The assignment runs 91 days, starting October 5, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,495.

Role Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and patient management as a member of the interdisciplinary team in the NICU
• Administer medications including epinephrine, norepinephrine, and dopamine
• Work with Epic EMR system
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed

Qualifications Required

• Minimum 2 years of previous NICU experience
• At least 1 completed travel contract
• Current Wisconsin nursing license
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Valid driver's license
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date
• 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission
• Work history and resume required
• License verification required

Additional Requirements

Your taxable address must be outside a 50-mile radius from the facility. You will be asked to demonstrate professional and clinical knowledge while contributing to the care team's interdisciplinary mission in the NICU.
