Registered Nurse - Wound Care @ MUSC Health Charleston

RN - Wound Care

Job Details:

• Work 5x8 shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• 2 years of WOCN RN experience required
• Pediatric experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, WOCN (continence certification not required)
• Must be certified by WOCN for wound and ostomy care
• Float to sister facilities within like units as needed
• Facility provides scrubs
• Epic charting system experience required
• Handle approximately 8 visits per day with daily census of 150
• Provide care for all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Specialize in adult, pediatric, and mental health wound care
• Manage advanced wound care including NPWT, fistula management, and traumatic wounds
• Provide ostomy care including colostomy, ileostomy, and urostomy management
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
• Must complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start
• South Carolina RN license required and must be active before reporting to facility
