Respiratory Therapist Job in Asheville, NC

You'll work as a Respiratory Therapist at Mission Hospital, an 854-bed facility in Asheville, NC. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting April 13, 2026.

Schedule & Pay

• 3 nights per week, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• $2,233.80 per week

Role Details

You'll provide respiratory care services across multiple service lines, including adult and pediatric populations. Night shift staffing includes 12–16 RRTs covering adult service lines and 3–4 RRTs for NICU and pediatric service lines. You'll float to all critical care units and floors as needed, managing patient ratios of 10–25 patients.

• GE R860 Adult ventilators
• Draeger Infant and Pediatric ventilators
• Newport HT70 transport ventilator
• V60 Non-invasive device
• Vapotherm and Comfort Flow high-flow oxygen devices
• Cerner EMR system

Requirements

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• North Carolina Respiratory License
• NRP certification preferred

Additional Information

• Medium gray or pewter colored scrubs required
• Varying weekends, with a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
