X-Ray Technician

Opportunity:

Rad Tech - XRay Tech

Job Details:

• Work 1st and 2nd shift with primary shift hours from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Acute care setting
• Every other weekend requirement
• Rotate holidays with permanent staff
• No on-call or standby requirements
• Perform general radiology, operating room, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging studies
• Average of 60 scans/studies performed per day across 3 rooms/scanners
• Work with GE, Phillips, and Siemens equipment
• Use Meditech and Intellispace PACS charting systems
• No IV starts required
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• At least 1-2 years of experience per modality required; additional experience preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Dress code: Purple tops and eggplant pants (scrubs not provided)
• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS Certification
• Connecticut state radiology license required
