CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 3x13-hour night shifts from 6:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with consecutive days starting Monday or Tuesday
• Shift time may vary +/- 2 hours depending on unit need; hours will still be fulfilled and advance notice will be provided
• On-call rotation required with staff
• Must be available to work or take call for one holiday per 13-week contract in rotation with staff
• Travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R), ARRT(CT)
• Virginia state license required
• Perform preparation and/or administration of contrast media
• Apply radiation safety protocols
• Perform a wide range of CT imaging including head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, cardiac, vascular, musculoskeletal, and trauma studies
• Perform advanced imaging techniques including 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction, and brain perfusion studies
• Start peripheral IVs as needed
• Serve patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• May be required to float to a nearby facility approximately half a mile from the primary location
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
