ICU RN Job in San Antonio, TX

Opportunity:

RN - Trauma ICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour rotating shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Rotating weekend schedule required
• No call requirements
• Assignment length: 13 or 26 weeks
• All travelers required to float per Methodist Floating Policy
• Must be trained on CVICU devices to support CV cases
• 2+ years ICU experience required
• Required skills: hemodynamic monitoring (swans, art lines), ventilator management, strong critical thinking
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH certification
• Preferred skills: IABP exposure, CRRT exposure, Meditech charting experience
• Active Texas RN license required (no temporary licenses accepted)
• Handle post-surgical patients including post CABG, post VAD, post cardiac catheterization with various support devices
• Document using Meditech system
• Dress code: Navy scrubs (top and pants) with navy or white scrub jacket
• Must badge in/out for shifts and take full 30-minute lunch breaks
• Clock in time 6:38 AM/PM required (after 6:45 considered tardy)
