OR RN Job in Miami, FL

HCA Florida Kendall Hospital is seeking an experienced RN for the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 13, 2026, working three 12-hour day shifts per week (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM). Weekly pay is $2,284.

About the Role

You will work in a 16-room operating room with a 1:1 patient ratio. The day shift team consists of 13 teams with 15 RNs and 15 surgical techs. Your responsibilities include:

• Prepare operating rooms and arrange equipment prior to procedures
• Assist physicians during surgeries
• Perform pre- and post-surgical duties, including patient shaving, transport, and dressing application
• Work with sterile accessories, circulators, sponges, gowning, gloving, tubing, cords, and cuts
• Inspect, maintain, decontaminate, and repair surgical equipment
• Maintain inventory records
• Document in the Meditech system

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute hospital operating room setting (surgical centers do not qualify)
• Strong orthopedic, neuro, and robotics experience
• Robotics/Da Vinci experience and scrubbing required
• Willingness to float to general OR
• BLS and ACLS certifications
