Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Care Practitioner

Job Details:

• 26-week contracts with guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Previous work in a Children's only hospital preferred
• Must be licensed by the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
• Administer therapeutic treatments as prescribed by attending medical staff
• Record treatment information and patient treatment responses in computerized medical records
• Act as a resource person to medical staff
• Perform invasive and noninvasive diagnostic testing and monitoring of patients
• Provide age-appropriate care to patients across all appropriate age levels
• Ensure respiratory equipment is cleaned and properly maintained
• Maintain necessary respiratory therapy records
• Perform as part of the quick response team for cardiac and respiratory arrests
• Work under general supervision providing services for the Respiratory Therapy Department in a timely and efficient manner
