Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job in Roanoke, VA

Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will work in a dynamic nuclear medicine and radiology department, performing diagnostic imaging procedures and supporting patient care in a hospital setting.

Role Details

• Work 3 twelve-hour shifts per week, Monday through Wednesday, 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM with flexible start times based on unit needs (one day's notice provided)
• No on-call requirements
• One holiday per 13-week contract worked in rotation with staff

Requirements

• Current Virginia state license, active and in hand at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• ARRT(N) or CNMT certification required
• PET certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine technology experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Documented PET/CT and PET scan experience
• Siemens equipment experience
• Epic charting system experience

Compensation

• Weekly pay: $2,846
• Assignment duration: 91 days
• Start date: September 8, 2026
