NICU RN Job in Silverdale, WA

You'll work as a registered nurse in a 10-bed Level II NICU at St Michael Medical Center in Silverdale, Washington. This is a 91-day travel assignment starting July 13, 2026, with weekly pay of $2,555.

Shift and Schedule

• 3x12-hour shifts, days (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) or nights (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend requirement
• No on-call or standby requirement
• Rotate holidays with permanent staff

Clinical Responsibilities

You will care for newborns with low birth weight, prematurity, respiratory conditions, hemodynamic issues, and other serious conditions. You'll manage bubble CPAP, tube feeds, high-flow equipment, and provide couplet care in the postpartum setting. You must be competent in stabilizing and transitioning newborns and able to attend both high and low-risk deliveries. Nurse-to-patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity. You may be required to float to the Mother Baby unit.

Experience and Certifications

• Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
• Will consider 1 year of experience with multiple prior travel assignments
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), and STABLE
• Experience with Level II NICU, ventilators, bubble CPAP, and high-flow equipment required
