PCU RN Job in Casper, Wyoming

Wyoming Medical Center Central is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Progressive Care Unit. This is a 3x12 night shift position with an 89-week duration, starting June 15, 2026. You will earn $2,718 weekly.

Your Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to provide age-appropriate care
• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs
• Review patient history and physical with patient and family within appropriate timeframes
• Monitor diagnostics and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians
• Formulate and implement comprehensive plans of care including discharge planning
• Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of healthcare team activities
• Evaluate patient and family response to care and teaching, revising plans as needed
• Document assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in patient records
• Participate in unit shared leadership and staff education activities
• Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing quality care

Required Qualifications

• Current valid RN license in Wyoming or compact licensure
• BLS certification
• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience
• Acute care experience within the past 12 months as a Registered Nurse
• Ability to maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and use proper body mechanics
• Willingness to use standard precautions due to exposure to blood and bodily fluids
