ED RN Job in Orem, UT

Join Timpanogos Regional Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in our 16-bed Emergency Department. This 12-week travel position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment serving patients across all acuity levels.

Schedule & Compensation

• 3x12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM–6:00 AM)
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 2 weekends per month required
• Weekly pay: $1,839.60
• Assignment duration: 84 days
• Start date: July 6, 2026

Role Responsibilities

You will care for patients with patient ratios of 3–4:1, or 1:1 for trauma and critical patients. Your duties include peripheral and ultrasound-guided IV insertion, IO insertion management, central line dressing changes, specimen collection, 12-lead ECG acquisition, defibrillation assistance, splint application, wound irrigation, medication administration, and procedural sedation monitoring. Advanced skills in ultrasound-guided IVs, EKGs, breathing treatments, digit blocks, and knowledge of chest tube and central line setup are preferred.

Requirements

• Valid Utah nursing license or current compact license at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Preferred certifications: TNCC, NRP, ENPC

Facility Details

You will work with physicians and mid-level providers in a teamwork-focused setting. The department uses Meditech documentation and BD Insyte IVs along with standard emergency department technology. Navy blue scrubs are required. There is no floating policy unless you are cross-trained to the ED.
