Cath Lab Technologist Job in Arlington, VA

Virginia Hospital Center is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist for a 91-day travel assignment in Arlington, VA. You will work 4x10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with 2–3 on-call shifts per week and 1–2 call weekends per 6-week period. You must live within 30 miles or 30 minutes of campus to meet on-call availability requirements.

Role Responsibilities

• Support a daily caseload of 25–30 cases across 4 cath lab rooms
• Perform scrubbing, monitoring, and EKG duties
• Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures including balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, and Rotablader
• Obtain vitals, perform 12-lead EKGs, and interpret rhythms
• Support electrophysiology procedures such as cardioversion

Required Experience & Skills

• Hands-on experience with LHC, LHC PCI, RHC, peripherals, IMPELLA, balloon pump, and Rota equipment
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Either RCIS or ARRT certification (ARRT requires active VA state license)
• Active VA license at time of submission
• EPIC system experience; all travelers attend an accelerated or 2-day EPIC orientation class upon arrival

• Circulate, IV start, phlebotomy
• Watchman procedures, septal closure, ablations
• Pacemaker/defibrillator device placement
• Advanced rhythm interpretation
