Physical Therapist Job in Merced, CA

You'll deliver outpatient physical therapy services at Mercy Medical Center Merced, working Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. This is an 8-hour shift role with flexibility for 10-hour shifts if you prefer.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy across a diverse patient population, from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Treat common diagnoses including orthopedic, neurological, medical, and pulmonary complications
• Float between inpatient acute hospital settings and an off-site outpatient center located 2.5 miles from the main facility (8-minute drive)
• Use Cerner for charting and documentation

Requirements

• Valid California physical therapy license
• BLS (AHA) certification

What to Expect

You'll complete a general department orientation with a skills checklist and work alongside an assigned clinician. Dress code is a burgundy polo or long-sleeve shirt, black pants, and closed-toe shoes. The facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, or 3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks.
