Endoscopy Technician

Opportunity:

Endoscopy Tech - Endo Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Call rotation required for one full week at a time from 3:00 PM to 6:00 AM Monday through Friday and 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM on weekends
• Average 15-18 cases per day with 7-8 cases on Saturdays
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Minimum 2 years endoscopy experience required
• BLS or ASHI certification required
• GI certification and CST experience preferred
• Scrubs in any color permitted
• Electronic medical records: Medhost and PICIS
• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure proper setup of equipment, instruments, and supplies
• Assist physicians with advanced endoscopic procedures including complex ERCP, SPYGlass, endosuturing, and double balloon enteroscopies
• Clean, decontaminate, and perform high-level disinfection of endoscopic equipment
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies
• Maintain accurate department records and quality control documentation
• Operate procedure-specific lasers and select appropriate laser fibers
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and anticipate physician needs during procedures
