Endoscopy Registered Nurse

Job Details:

• Work day/evening shifts with variable schedules: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Take call as needed, typically once a week and every 6th weekend
• Ability to switch call schedules with team members when coverage is arranged
• Work with both outpatients and inpatients across multiple campuses
• Take calls for endoscopy procedures
• OR nursing experience with endoscopy training preferred or sole focus on endoscopy procedures
• Perform ongoing systematic patient assessments focusing on physiological, psychological, and cognitive status
• Implement nursing care plans and provide documentation that is timely, accurate, and concise
• Follow established protocols for emergency situations while maintaining calm demeanor
• Incorporate hourly rounding into daily practice
• Participate in staff development activities and maintain current nursing knowledge
• Collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Demonstrate accountability for individual nursing practice and ethical decision-making
• Current nursing license and relevant certifications required
