Radiation Therapist Job in Palo Alto, CA

Sutter Health Palo Alto Center Lee Building is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a 91-day travel assignment. You will deliver radiation treatments to adult patients using advanced clinical protocols and specialized equipment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized radiation treatments according to physician-developed treatment plans
• Execute safe and precise procedures independently, using sound judgment and clinical skills
• Conduct patient assessments and provide attentive monitoring throughout treatment
• Deliver accurate treatment results in a timely manner
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
• Work with specialized equipment including Varian TrueBeam and Aria systems
• May orient other staff to department procedures as needed
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations for patient privacy and safety

• Location: Palo Alto, CA
• Schedule: 5x8 Days (no weekends, call, or floating)
• Duration: 91 days
• Start Date: July 6, 2026
• Weekly Pay: $3,214.08

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of radiation therapy experience
• Prior travel healthcare experience required
• Current certifications: ARRT, CRT, and BLS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• 7-year work history verification required
• Available for lab work within 3–5 days of signing
• Only one holiday request will be approved during assignment
