CT Technologist Job in Hilo, HI

You are a CT Technologist seeking a travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. Hilo Medical Center is looking for a skilled imaging professional to join their CT department on a 91-day assignment beginning August 17, 2026.

Role Overview

You will perform routine CT scans according to radiologist protocols and function independently in the imaging department. Shifts are 4x10 rotating based on departmental need, with no on-call responsibilities. You must have a minimum of two years of acute hospital experience and be able to work without direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Scan patients per established radiologist protocols
• Operate CT imaging equipment with accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Work rotating shifts as scheduled by the department

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum two years of work experience in an acute hospital setting

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR systems
• Familiarity with Canon or Toshiba CT units
• Proficiency with Vitrea workstation
• Venipuncture experience
• Experience with MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging techniques
• Background in procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular imaging, cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging

Assignment Details

This is a 91-day travel position with weekly pay of $3,153.60. You will work in a hospital setting with access to modern imaging technology and a collaborative clinical team. This assignment offers you the opportunity to expand your experience while working in a beautiful Hawaii location.
