ED RN Job in Asheville, NC

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning June 8, 2026, working 3x12 nights (2:45 PM–3:15 AM). Weekly pay is $1,918.44.

About the Role

You will work in a 101-bed emergency department that serves as a regional Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center. Patient ratios typically run 4:1 for medical patients and up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds. You will float across all sections within the ED and must be comfortable working every other weekend with flexible scheduling to meet department needs.

Experience & Qualifications

• 2 years of nursing experience required, with at least 1 year in an emergency room setting
• Level II trauma center or high-volume ED experience (>100,000 visits annually) preferred
• Previous HCA experience preferred

Required Certifications Before Start Date

• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS
• ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire

Equipment & Systems

You will work with Baxter pumps, GE monitors, and Cerner documentation. Navy scrubs are the required uniform.
