Special Procedures Technologist in Saint Louis, MO

Join Barnes-Jewish Hospital Allied as a Special Procedures Technologist in our interventional radiology department. You will support a high-volume, 9-room IR suite performing 6–8 procedures daily across cardiology and radiology services.

Schedule & Assignment

• 4×10 shifts: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
• One Saturday shift (8:00 AM–4:00 PM) during the 13-week assignment
• Weekend call coverage 1–2 times per assignment (Friday 4:00 PM–Monday 7:30 AM)
• Backup assignments approximately once per week
• Guaranteed minimum of 3 shifts per 13-week assignment
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed

Clinical Responsibilities

• Assist with central venous catheter placements and replacements
• Support diagnostic angiograms and vascular procedures
• Participate in Y-90 mappings and treatments
• Support gastrostomy and percutaneous nephrostomy tube placements
• Assist with peripheral artery disease interventions
• Work with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Float within service line as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in interventional radiology (2 years preferred)
• ARRT R certification
• BLS certification
• C-Arm and contrast experience

Preferred Qualifications

• ARRT VI certification
• Experience with Siemens and GE ultrasound equipment
• Epic charting system experience

Compensation & Details

• Weekly pay: $3,352.32
• 13-week assignment (91 days)
• Start date: July 6, 2026
