Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• Call required as needed with approximately 1 week's worth of call over a 12-17 week contract
• Weekend call shifts include 24 hours on Saturday and 24 hours on Sunday in the call rotation
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Float required in the event of a COVID surge and may float to any campus if needed
• Minimum 1 year experience required; first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• RCIS/RCES strongly preferred but not required
• EPIC experience required with CUPID and XPER Witt for hemodynamic monitoring
• Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
• Perform 25-35 invasive cath procedures daily including cardiac interventions and adjunct therapies
• Handle procedures such as balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, rotablader
• Work with patients diagnosed with coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, arrhythmia, and irregular rhythms
• Must pass EKG exam during compliance with 2 attempts allowed
• Complete non-billable modules averaging 2-4 hours during orientation
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Full compliance file required by 12 noon EST by Wednesday prior to start date
