Opportunity:

RN - Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Position on 37-bed intermediate care telemetry unit located on the 3rd floor
• Patient ratios of 1:6 general telemetry patients, 1:4 for heart catheterization patients
• Work with equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
• Use Meditech electronic medical record system
• Minimum 1 year current acute care hospital telemetry experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• NIH certification preferred
• Perform procedures including central line management and medication drips
• Provide heart catheterization recovery care and bubble studies
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, independence, and strong critical thinking skills
• Focus on providing positive patient care experiences
