Interventional Radiology Technologist in Wausau, WI

Aspirus Wausau Hospital is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract position in their fast-paced interventional radiology unit. You'll work 5×8 day shifts, typically 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with 40 guaranteed hours per week at $3,408 weekly.

Your Role:

• Support 4–6 interventional procedures daily with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Collaborate with a team of 1 RN and 2 Rad Techs on complex cases
• Handle interventional cath, vascular, and neurology procedures
• Assist with high-quality radiologic exams, interventional medical sonography, cone beam CT, and three-dimensional reconstruction
• Float to other central-region locations as needed
• Manage Epic charting systems

On-Call Requirements:

• 1–2 weeknight calls with 30-minute response time
• Weekend and holiday rotation on call only (every 4th weekend, holidays as needed)
• May be placed on low-census call with 2-hour minimum callback; 36 hours of unbillable low-census hours are contract-eligible

Requirements:

• Allied Health Professional credential (Associate degree or certificate)
• Current ARRT certification
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Wisconsin radiologic technologist license
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in interventional cath, interventional vascular, or interventional neurology procedures
• Located outside a 50-mile radius from the facility

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with complex interventional procedures and advanced imaging modalities
• Epic charting experience
