ICU RN Job in Albany, GA

ADEX Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the ICU at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. This is a 119-day contract starting May 11, 2026, working 3x12-hour night shifts at $2,233.80 per week.

Role Overview

You will provide direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, managing acute and critically ill patients. Your responsibilities include caring for post-interventional radiology patients, handling cardiac procedure patients including post-STEMI care and post-code patients, and supporting medical and surgical ICU cases when other ICU beds reach capacity. You will document all care using the MEDITECH charting system.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• At least 1 completed travel nursing assignment
• Strong background in cardiac procedures and interventions from cath lab procedures
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• Current NIHSS certification
• Must work within a strict 75-mile radius of the facility

Important Details

A BSN is not required for this position. The facility operates on a cancellation policy that permits 12 hours of cancellation every 2 weeks. You will work in an acute care setting with the support and resources of an established medical center.
