ED RN Job in Tucson, Arizona

Northwest Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning March 16, 2026.

Position Details

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 48-hour weekly guarantee available
• Weekly pay: $1,971
• 38-bed emergency department at a Trauma Level III certified facility

Your Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to ED patients using the Nursing Process
• Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment in all clinical decisions
• Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience
• Provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Participate in stroke receiving and STEMI receiving protocols
• Float to other units as needed
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education

Requirements

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Black scrubs per facility dress code policy

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge nurse experience (additional compensation available)
• NIH certification recommended but not required
