CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• 4x10 shift schedule, Tuesday through Friday
• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours in one workweek
• Perform CT scans for Emergency Department patients with a wide variety of cases from a Level III Trauma Center ED
• Daily census of approximately 180 CT scans
• Work with GE CT Equipment
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience required
• Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred
• 1 year of experience required
• Required certifications: ARRT (CT), BLS
• Indiana state license must be in hand prior to start - pending licenses not accepted
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Treat patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Required skills include: abdomen CT without and/or with contrast, chest CT, head CT, brain perfusion, carotid, cervical, lumbar, musculoskeletal trauma, pelvic CT, soft tissue neck, thoracic, vascular CTA, pulmonary embolism CTA, venipuncture, peripheral IV placement, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, PACS, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Floating within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals is required
