OR Registered Nurse Job in Martinsburg, WV

Join WVU Berkeley Medical Center as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. This is a 91-day travel assignment beginning July 20, 2026, offering you the opportunity to work in a dynamic surgical environment across multiple specialties.

Schedule and Compensation

• Work 3 shifts of 12 hours per week at $2,488.32 weekly pay
• Flexible shift times available: 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, 11:00 AM–7:00 PM, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, and overnight 11:00 PM–11:00 AM
• One weeknight on-call rotation (7:00 PM–7:00 AM) per rotation cycle
• One weekend 24-hour on-call shift (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) per month
• Holiday call rotation as needed with 30-minute response time

Clinical Responsibilities

• Circulate in general surgery, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, robotics (DaVinci and Rosa), neuro spine, trauma, vascular, and limited pediatric cases
• Be comfortable as the sole RN overnight with 2 surgical techs
• Cover all surgical specialties for evening and night shifts
• Float to outpatient surgery as needed
• Potential charge nurse responsibilities on day shift with rotation participation
• Scrubbing is a plus but not required

Requirements

• 2–3 years OR experience and 2–3 previous travel assignments
• Orthopedic surgery experience required
• Demonstrated ability passing instruments for robotic surgery
• Epic EMR proficiency
• ACLS and BLS (AHA); PALS preferred
• BSN not required
