RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts per week with rotating on-call requirements including weekends and holidays
• Shift times: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM and/or 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM with rotating on-call coverage
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Handle 12-18 cases per day in a high-volume, high-acuity cardiac catheterization lab
• Work in 3 newly renovated labs performing 4-7 cases per lab daily
• Circulate and monitor procedures including STEMI call coverage
• Float within scope to medical assignments and ED for medical holds as needed
• Every other weekend requirement with 1 weekend and 5-6 weekdays on-call per 4-week period
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Complete up to 8 hours of non-billable modules within 1 week of signing
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• VA or compact state nursing license required
• Minimum 1 year cardiac or critical care experience required
• Experience in cardiac cath and/or interventional radiology preferred
• EPIC documentation system experience preferred
• Scrubs provided
• Procedures include TAVRS, Watchman, CardiomMEMS, carotids, Impella, CTO, peripherals, TEVARS/EVARS
• Work with Philips rooms, Medrad and manifold for injections, XPER documentation
