Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work first shift with call, staggered start time between 7:00 AM and 8:30 AM for 5x8 hours/day Monday-Friday
• Rotate primary call and backup call with team members for round-the-clock coverage
• Primary call approximately one day every 4 weeks and weekend every 5th-6th weekend
• Backup call approximately 7 days (including weekend) every 9 weeks
• Weekend and evening/night coverage on call rotation required
• Daily case load of 13-17 patients
• Handle all IR procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, drainages, upper and lower extremity procedures
• Perform abdominal and pelvic studies, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
• Required skills in both neuro procedures (including stroke intervention) and body procedures
• Work with majority adults and geriatrics, with some adolescents
• Minimum 1 year interventional radiology experience required
• Travel experience required - does not accept first-time travelers
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
• Experience with Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment required
• PACS and contrast experience required
• Inpatient hospital experience required
• Must complete hospital orientation during first week with daily class attendance
• Scrubs provided
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week
