RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Preference for 36 hours per week; schedule options include 4x10-hour shifts or 3x12-hour shifts
• Shift times: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM or 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Weekends, holidays, and on-call/callback shifts required per unit needs
• Charge nurse responsibilities may be required per unit needs
• Care for both adult and pediatric inpatient and outpatient cardiac patients
• Work across 4 Cath labs and 3 EP labs focusing on mechanical and electrical diagnosis and cardiac intervention
• Provide pre and post procedural care in holding area
• Collaborate with CVT staff in an RN-rich practice model
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• Critical care or cardiac experience required
• Moderate sedation training required
• Dysrhythmia and telemetry experience required
• Must have experience with TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman
• Must have experience with Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, and FlowTriever
• Mechanical Circulatory Support experience required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo, and LVAD
• Structural Heart experience required: TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty, and ASA
• Cardiovascular certification or RCES preferred
• Familiarity with device and ablation procedures and equipment preferred
• EP Lab experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA)
• New York RN license required
