Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• 6 week assignment
• Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call requirements: Monday-Friday 3:30 PM to 7:00 AM and weekends 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• Work in Nuclear Medicine Department with 1 full-time and 2 PRN staff members
• Must be Registered NMTCB and/or ARRT(N)
• Must hold MRT license for Texas Medical Board
• BLS certification from HCA approved vendor required
• Must have excellent venipuncture skills and good computer skills
• Perform general, cardiac, and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures
• Handle procedures including Sentinel Node Injections, DATScan, Hida, Gastric Emptying, VQ, Thyroid Uptake, Bone Scan Indium 111, Thyroid Ablations, and Xofigo
• Operate GE NM 850 Dual Head SPECT/CT Scanner, GE NM 830 Dual Head Gamma Camera, and GE Case 8000 Stress Testing system
• Use Meditech EMR system
• Experience with GE Scanners, Xeleris Post Processing, GE Centricity PACS, and Meditech Health Information System preferred
