Scrub Tech - Scrub Tech

Job Details:

• 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Float requirements between Howard Young, Eagle River, and Tomahawk locations; floating may be prescheduled as needed
• On-call requirement of one night per week and one weekend every fourth weekend with call back within 20 minutes; call only at Rhinelander
• Holiday and weekend rotation required
• Work exclusively in general surgery across 5 operating rooms and 1 endoscopy room
• Perform procedures excluding neurology, spinal, and cardiac surgeries
• Use surgical instruments including retractors, forceps, clamps, scissors, and needle holders, selecting according to planned use, tissue type, and patient size
• Determine specific equipment needed per procedure
• Scrub colors provided by facility
• Charting experience with Epic required
• Minimum 1 year of surgical tech experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross); CST not required
• Candidates must be hard working, resilient, adaptable to change, socially engaging, and possess strong documentation skills
• Contractors must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
